We know the world is struggling in the fight against COVID-19 and we’re all in this together.
Although it’s uncomfortable to ask, if you are able, we would greatly appreciate your help.
The people of Anguilla are facing the worst economic disaster the island has ever seen.
We’ve transformed Blanchards Restaurant into a food bank providing groceries for the island’s most vulnerable. We also have a mobile fleet distributing food to the more remote parts of the island and to people without transportation.
As of August 4, 2020 here’s what’s happening in Anguilla:
Founded in 2006, Blanchards Anguilla Children’s Fund (BACF) is dedicated to enriching the quality of life for the children in Anguilla. In times of emergency, like hurricanes and the current COVID-19 pandemic, we use the fund to buy food, water and necessary supplies for the people of Anguilla.
BACF is a not-for-profit Anguilla company as well as a U.S. non-profit 501(c)3 organization. All contributions are tax deductible and donors will be provided with an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes. If you have any questions or prefer to pay by check or wire transfer, please feel free to send us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Stay safe and healthy!
We are deeply touched by the generosity of so many people! In order to keep the food bank open, however, we still need more help. The island will be struggling for many months to come.
