Our son, Jesse Blanchard, has generously created this mixed media woodcut of stunning Meads Bay in Anguilla. A limited-edition of prints are for sale and all proceeds will go directly toward buying groceries for Blanchards Food Bank during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jesse’s tranquil landscape is filled with depth and texture and created in his Santa Fe studio. Each distinctive layer is a unique woodcut print, hand-stitched together for the final composition. All prints are individually numbered and signed.

An established painter/printmaker whose work has been extensively exhibited throughout the United States and the Caribbean, Jesse Blanchard masterfully awakens a sense of time and place with his interpretive, often dream-like compositions. His work has found a permanent home in an impressive number of private and public collections. Jesse’s art has adorned the walls of Blanchards restaurant since opening in 1994.

All proceeds from the sale of this print go directly to Blanchards Food Bank in conjunction with Blanchards Anguilla Children’s Fund (BACF). Founded in 2006, BACF is a 501(c)3 non-profit, dedicated to enriching the quality of life for children in Anguilla. In times of emergency, like hurricanes and the current COVID-19 pandemic, we use the fund to buy food, water and necessary supplies for the people of Anguilla.
