Belated Congratulations to Annie & Deon!!!

Anledy Connor and Deon Walters both started as line cooks at Blanchards Beach Shack and now they’re running the whole show! Annie was promoted to Beach Shack Manager in October, 2022 and Deon was promoted to Beach Shack Assistant Manager in February 2023.

Deon has been cooking at the Beach Shack since 2011 and has been a successful Team Leader for many years now. We’ve always admired his dedication to quality and attention to detail and are thrilled to announce his recent promotion. Deon, we are so proud of you!

Annie has worked in both Blanchards and Beach Shack kitchens and combined with her business experience, was the perfect choice for the Beach Shack Manager position. It’s been over 5 months now and what Annie has learned and accomplished is nothing short of amazing. Great job, Annie! We knew you could do it!

Hues of island colors anchor the interior of Blanchards. Bold blues, sea-worthy teal and the artwork of artist Jesse Blanchard.

Blanchard, who makes his home in Santa Fe, notes the slow cadence of island living pictorially transformed into contemplative mixed media compositions.

One guest recently said, “The artwork is worth going to see alone.”

2 Restaurants / 1 Beach 🏝️

Our two restaurants share the same beach entrance on Meads Bay. Both offer the same view of a crystal blue sea and powdery white sand beach. We also share the same warm Anguillan hospitality and a spectacular sunset!

However, each restaurant offers something very different. For those of you who have visited both, we think you’d agree 😊

The Beach Shack is perfect for a casual lunch or dinner at picnic tables in the sand. We serve some of our all-time favorites like our MBLT sandwich (that’s Mahi-Bacon-Lettuce-Tomato), all-natural burgers, homemade soups, fresh salads, tacos, rum punch, a full bar menu, and ice cream treats — just to name a few.

Next door, Blanchards tall teal shutters are open for dinner with a menu of innovative dishes infused with bold flavors and a global influence. The atmosphere is polished-casual with an award-winning wine list. Grilled Local Crayfish, Warm Brussel Sprout Caesar, Tuna Poke, and the Cracked Coconut dessert are some of our guest’s favorites.
